During your holidays don't forget to visit the Natural History museum of Crete. There you will have the chance to see a realistic representation of ecosystems found in the Eastern Meditarranean region, a fossils' exhibition, an earthquake simulator, the body of the largest mammal that ever lived on Crete, and small scale aquariums and terrariums, housing living animals.
This year the Naturall History museum of Crete become a member of CETAF (Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities). CETAF is a networked consortium of scientific institutions in Europe formed to promote training, research and understanding of systematic biology and palaeobiology.
